Tell us about your company.

Atlas Ocean Voyages is a premier expedition cruise line known for its intimate, luxurious yachts designed for year-round expedition cruising. Atlas offers the ultimate way to experience the world in relaxed luxury. Our all-inclusive approach sets us apart, covering everything from open bars aboard the ship, including craft beers, specialty coffees, and premium spirits; ship-wide Wi-Fi; L'Occitane En Provence bath amenities; prepaid gratuities; and emergency medical evacuation insurance.  This holistic philosophy, combined with our small-group expeditions, guarantees an unparalleled journey that goes beyond expectations.

Our fleet includes World Navigator, which launched in 2021; World Traveller which debuted in 2022; and World Voyager, which was introduced in late 2023. Each of our Polar Class yachts features cutting-edge engineering and technology to ensure they have a low impact on the pristine places they travel, allowing guests an up-close view of wildlife and a portal to adventure.

Destinations we visit include Antarctica, Patagonia and the Falklands, South America, the Caribbean, Transatlantic, Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Iceland and Greenland, and the Arctic. Regardless of the destination, guests enjoy the freedom to explore fascinating locales in depth with an expert crew dedicated to providing an extraordinary, personally curated experience.

What are your unique selling points?

Atlas Ocean Voyages stands out with its Intimate Yachting Expeditions™ offering a unique way to experience the world through expedition cruise travel. Yachts are designed to provide travelers with a relaxed, convivial atmosphere without sacrificing onboard luxuries and all-inclusive amenities.

With fewer than 200 fellow explorers and a 1-to-1 guest-to-crew ratio, attention to detail and service is exceptional. The beautiful interiors and attention to comfort and function strike the perfect balance on board. Being yacht-sized, we can tuck into remote and almost out-of-reach places, providing up-close, immersive experiences and adventures.

Polar Expeditions reveal the natural wonders of Antarctica, Iceland, Greenland, the Arctic,

and Norwegian fjords through Zodiac safaris, glacial hikes, and other adventures led by expedition specialists.

Epicurean Expeditions in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe illuminate the continent’s diverse cultures through the lens of food and wine with special onboard events and shoreside experiences.

Cultural Expeditions are for those who revel in art and architecture and dive deep into the people and culture of each destination, from Northern Europe, and the British Isles, to the Caribbean and South America.

What is your most popular itinerary/destination?

During the summer, two of our yachts explore the Arctic and Northern Europe, while one sails the Mediterranean, featuring our Epicurean Expeditions by Atlas experience.

In the winter months, all three yachts offer Polar Expeditions to Antarctica ranging from 9- to 18 nights. Select expeditions include calls to South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, providing a unique opportunity to witness abundant wildlife, including the majestic King Penguins.  Polar Expeditions to Antarctica features inclusive charter jet service from Buenos Aires or Punta Arenas and a one-night pre-cruise hotel stay inclusively, adding convenience and comfort to this iconic expedition. Expeditions are available from November through March.

Our most sought-after itinerary is the 11-day Crossing the Antarctic Circle expedition, sailing roundtrip from Ushuaia, Argentina. This polar expedition includes a two-day journey through the legendary Drake Passage and up to six days of Captain’s Choice landings and Zodiac safaris at the Antarctic Peninsula. Due to the size of the vessel, guests can make up to two outings per day in a small group. The highlight is the opportunity to cross the Antarctic Circle, making it a truly extraordinary experience.

What is new for 2024/25?

We are excited to continue our growth with the recent addition of the World Voyager, enhancing our expedition offerings to the Arctic in the summer and Antarctica in the winter with new Fly the Drake voyages.

New for 2024 are expeditions visiting Greenland, a first-time offering allowing travelers to explore Iceland, Svalbard, and Greenland in one extraordinary journey. Whether it's the towering icebergs, vibrant coastal villages, or the mesmerizing Northern Lights, each day promises a new and awe-inspiring experience. Expeditions are available from June through September.

A notable addition for late November or early December 2024 is our Fly the Drake Polar Expeditions aboard World Voyager, allowing for a faster journey to the Antarctic adventure by bypassing the Drake Passage, both ways. A 5-night Drake Express expedition is highlighted here. This innovation provides guests with a more efficient and comfortable route to this spectacular destination.
