Our Mission
Our mission is to create an engaged travel trade community that shares a passion for expedition cruising as a form of travel, to grow the sector, and to act as sector’s voice in the travel industry and beyond.
Welcome
The Expedition Cruise Network (ECN) is a commercial B2B membership organisation whose purpose is to connect expedition cruise operators with travel-trade professionals, in order to promote expedition cruising as an incredible choice for travellers from across the world. We are also a voice for the sector that seeks to represent it in authentic, trustworthy, and consistent manner.

Structure
The ECN is led by our CEO and Chairman, with the support of an advisory board that consists of representatives from expedition cruising brands and other travel-trade professionals, and whose role is to assist in strategic decisions and to ensure that the organisation continuously represents the interests of its members.

Our Expedition Cruise Members
Our Expedition Cruise Members must offer cruise-style holidays onboard a ship or boat with a demonstrable emphasis on exploration. This might be by being intrinsic to the destinations served (e.g. Antarctica, Galapagos, etc.), the availability of an onboard expedition team, custom-designed shore activities that explore lesser-known aspects of other more-conventional destinations or catering for special, often scientific, interests of cruise passengers.
Travel Trade Professionals
Our travel trade members are at the heart of all we do: they are travel trade professionals – travel agents, tour operators, travel designers and consultants, luxury specialists, adventure travel experts, marketing, product and sales managers -who all share one thing in common: a passion for expedition cruising as a unique form of travel.
